Services Overview

All sessions are currently offered online through secure telehealth for clients located in California, USA or Ontario, Canada, where I am licensed/registered to practice. Because telehealth laws vary by location, clients must be physically located in California or Ontario at the time of session

I work with individuals that struggle with issues ranging from trauma to challenges associated with common life events and transitions. I tend to work particularly well with:

  • Anyone 13 years or older

  • Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Differences, Anxiety, Depression, etc.)

  • LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

  • People interested in strengthening their connections to nature and/or spirituality

  • People recovering from burnout

  • Aspiring therapists or people in helping professions

  • Activists and social justice advocates

  • Theatre people / improvisers

  • Artistic / Creative individuals

  • Folks that struggle with self-esteem or self-confidence

FREE 15 Minute Discovery Contact

I offer free 15 minute discovery calls through phone or video conferencing to answer any of your questions, discuss which of my offerings might work well for your situation, and/or setup an initial session.

Psychotherapy Services:

I offer 50-minute individual psychotherapy sessions online for clients located in California and Ontario, where I am licensed/registered to practice. Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and organic. My work may include talk therapy as well as creative or drama-therapy-informed approaches upon request.

I do not believe therapy needs to feel cold, overly clinical, or like someone is trying to shove your soul into a worksheet. I tend to move at the pace of the relationship, listening closely, reflecting patterns, asking thoughtful questions, and gently challenging when enough trust has been built. I presently do not offer couples, family, or group psychotherapy.

Education and Training Services*:

In addition to psychotherapy, I offer trainings and workshops for parents, educators, organizations, and psychotherapists. These educational offerings are separate from therapy services and can be adapted for shorter or longer formats.

Training topics may include understanding and supporting diverse genders and sexualities, neurodivergence, autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, the neurodiversity paradigm, drama-therapy-informed approaches, and Dungeons & Dragons or tabletop roleplaying games as tools for connection, perspective-taking, creativity, and social growth.

Trainings may be offered in person in the Bay Area or Ontario, or remotely by Zoom for organizations in many locations, subject to scheduling, organizational needs, and any applicable requirements.

*Trainings and workshops are educational in nature and do not constitute psychotherapy, clinical supervision, legal advice, or consultation regarding specific clients unless otherwise clearly agreed in writing.

Approaches

Play

Play and drama-therapy-informed approaches can help us get to the heart of things with creativity, safety, and containment. You do not need any experience with acting, theater, or performance to benefit from this kind of work. When it feels useful, I may gradually invite creative expression, role exploration, imagination, metaphor, or embodied reflection into the therapy process. We will move at your pace and pay close attention to the boundary between comfort and growth.

Build

Much of my work focuses on how identity, neurodivergence, sensitivity, creativity, and difference are often misunderstood or unsupported by systems that reward conformity, productivity, and masking. Therapy can be a place to better understand what has shaped you, what has worn you down, and what kind of life may actually fit. I believe each person has a unique mind, perspective, and way of moving through the world. Together, we can explore what it means to build a life with more honesty, support, accommodation, and room to breathe.

Learn

I also offer consultations, trainings, and workshops for parents, educators, organizations, and helping professionals who want to better understand and support neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, sensitive, and creative people. These offerings are educational and collaborative rather than therapy, and can be adapted to fit the needs of your group. My goal is to deepen compassionate care by making complex ideas feel human, practical, and usable.
